What are you eating today (Friday) or yesterday?
Hi,
Leave to go home from my parents this morning. I did well eating wise, but need to get to the gym for sure. Have a lunch date, so not sure what lunch will be. Probably fish, brown rice and veggie at ruby tuesdays or brown rice, steamed shrimp and veggies at the chinese place we like.
B- Yogurt and fiber one
S- Protein shake
L- fish or shrimp, brown rice and veggie
S- cheese and fruit
D- not sure, lean meat and veggie
S- 1/4c nuts
I'm glad your eating went well while you were at your parents'. I miss my workouts when I'm away from home. For the first day or so, I'm glad I can sleep late or goof off. Then I start feeling cranky and/or blue, wondering what's wrong with me until eventually I realize I've been missing my workouts.
My food plan for today:
B: protein latte
S: oatmeal w/ blueberries & a dollop of Greek yogurt
S: citrus & avocado salad
L: BBQ pork rib, more salad
S: raw fennel
S: ranch flavored peanuts
D: beef brisket, rosemary roasted veggies (Brussels sprouts, pearl onions, sweet potato)
S: Fiber One "brownie"
The ranch flavored peanuts are from a recipe my husband found. He made them while I was at work so I don't know exactly what went into it besides ranch dressing mix, but they're very good.
Today's exercise will be a step aerobics class. We're all going to wear red in honor of women's heart health awareness and have our picture taken to submit to a contest run by our local hospital. One woman in the class keeps asking what the contest prize is. Like, a restaurant gift certificate? She just doesn't get that the prize is better heart health awareness, and that's not going to be well served with a meal at Applebee's.
