Gallbladder removed 2 days ago, band feels crazy tight. Normal?

I am not only up 2 lbs (which I gather is from the IV fluids) but I haven't been able to eat anything but broth and jello for 2 days.  My band is crazy tight.  I assume this is a short term reaction of retained fluids correct?  Does the stomach retain some of the water causing it to feel tight?   For those that have experienced this, how long till I go back to my usual restriction?

That's really a question for your doctor. A lot of things can affect your restriction, including medication and hydration. I'm  not sure what you mean by your stomach retaining some of the water from your IV fluids. Your stomach won't be holding the liquid as if you drank it, but it could be keeping the fluids in its tissues.
