Thanks again for doing this thread while I was dealing with panic and chaos (mostly self-created) about my aunt's hospitalization. Her weakness and confusion were caused by a bad UTI, not a stroke. The infection has responded to IV antibiotics and she's better oriented and able to talk a little now. She'll stay in the hospital for some rehab. I've decided I need to head north to see her when the weather up there is better. In the meantime, things are more or less back to normal. I'm willing to resume doing thread, but you are certainly welcome to continue it.

My food plan for today:
B: protein latte
S: cracked wheat hot cereal w/ cherries & a dollop of Greek yogurt
S: Fiber One protein bar
L: Turkish chicken, spinach salad w/ mushrooms
S: raw fennel
S: popcorn
D: cod w/ creamy tomato sauce, broccoli
S: chocolate protein ball

This morning's exercise will be the brutal, high-intensity interval training class. It's only pride that keeps me going to that class. I'm barely able to keep up with the instructor and my (younger) fellow participants.

Glad to hear that Jean!  I can't even post today my day is so messed up I can't remember what was today.  I woke up at 3 side awake and didn't get back to bed till 8 and slept to noon.  So far 4 hours is a record for sleeping in a row, it was 2.5.

B - 6oz Premire Vannila

L - 1oz cottage cheese

D - 2oz split soup.

Do to taking a med now that requires I not eat for 12-16 hours, I'm having a big problem today.  I figure I need a min of 37.5 hours a day to get everything right.

Hi Jean,

I am more than happy to continue if you'd like me to.  It's entirely up to you.  I enjoy hearing how your life is going.  Glad it turned out your aunt had a UTI and not  stroke and that she is doing much better.
