What are you eating today (Tuesday) or yesterday?
Yesterday was very, very cold. Today is freeeeeeking cold. I have the day off and would like to stay put in my nice warm house, but I have to get a blood test done this morning (in preparation for my upcoming appt with my surgeon's NP & dietitian) and do some errands.
Today's food plan:
B: protein latte (after the blood test)
S: steel cut oatmeal w/ blueberries & a dollop of Greek yogurt
S: ricotta cheesecake fluff w/ cherries
L: pulled pork BBQ, chow-chow
S: smoked salmon & cream cheese roll-up
S: raw sugar snap peas
D: lemon chicken, veggy pancake
S: chocolate protein ball
I'm skipping my exercise class this morning because of the blood test.
Have a great day!
Jean

Yes it is freaking cold. 1 degree here and wind chill making it -17. No walk for me and the dog is on his own.
I followed my plan yesterday except late afternoon I ate 3 pieces of candy (didn't want them to go to waste and the dog wouldn't eat them the traitor). That's my story and I am sticking to it. I also ate about 4 wasa crackers later. I will just keep on trying to improve daily. I confess that yesterday was extremely stressful but for the most part I dealt with it with out food.
B. yogurt with frozen blueberries and a few pecans
S. protein bar
L. cheese and refried beans
S. almonds
D. bean soup with smoked sausage. Hubby request
S. more yogurt and a shake if I need it
Yesterday was a good day- but did eat 2 servings of nuts instead of the one I planned. However, that's much better than I was doing a couple weeks ago. I am feeling like I have my act together, which is a great feeling. Just got back from the gym. Did 30 min. walking on an incline on the treadmill and chest with my trainer.
B- whole grain eng. muffin and 1T peanut butter
S- Protein shake
L- chili- made it for the first time yesterday and it came out great.
S- cheese and berries
D- Fish and spinach
S- 1/4c nuts
Red sauce! I can tell you're from New England!
