Finally Restriction! 5.5cc hit the spot

I saw my surgeon today, I thought I misunderstood him, he primes the band with .5ccs, so my first fill I felt nothing, so he decided to do a dynamic fill where I drink and he fill the band.

He had gave me too much at 6ccs, then he backed it down to 5.5ccs and that hit the spot .

I am so happy I have not had long lasting restriction in 2. years, now it's time to work my band!

Yay!!  Getting fills were exciting, it's like a new start.  5.5 or a little less was about my sweet spot, as well.....at least until my body and band just decided to not like each other much.

Thanks Melly! Getting this new AP band is a brand new experience for me, and I was worried that it would not work for me..lol...I misunderstood my surgeon and thought he filled my band to 5cc during installation, and it was acutally.5cc, and I thought since my first fill was 4ccs and I already had 5ccs I felt no restriction.......but he clarified that I only had 4ccs with my first fill...*whew* , I thought I was maxed out already....but I have a lot more room for future fills, but I don't think I will ever get near 6ccs.

But I liked how he gave me a dynamic fill to get things going where he have me drinking while filling the band and I tell him to stop, he had filled me to 6ccs and I could not even swallow..but he backed it back down. I hope this last for a while, I see him again in a month to see if I need a little tweaking.

I hope you are doing well with your Sleeve, good to see you

That's awesome!  My good surgeon seemed to be very good at guessing what I needed.  He listened well and asked a lot of questions.

My sleeve is good....but, I have recently started some therapy to try and conquer my eating disorder.  I want to use this beautiful tool for all it's worth!

Hope your fill is great!
