What are you eating today (Friday) or yesterday?
Last night I went to bed early and set my alarm as usual for 5:15 am (it takes me a while to get this old body cranked up enough to tackle an exercise class at 7:30 am). I slept well but woke at 4:15 am and couldn't go back to sleep because I was hungry and because the hamsters in my brain were doing their own workout. So much for getting some extra sleep.
Today's food plan:
B: protein latte
S: hot cracked wheat cereal w/ a dollop of plain Greek yogurt (sweetened with Truvia)
S: banana w/ peanut butter
L: small slice of toasted sourdough bread spread w/ ricotta cheese, a sprinkle of pistachios, and a drizzle of mustard vinaigrette
S: pear w/ Havarti cheese
S: raw sugar snap peas
D: shrimp & veggy egg roll w/ sweet & sour sauce
S: chocolate protein ball
I'm not sure how well the toasted sourdough bread will go down. When I still had my band, I could eat a few bites of bread if it was well toasted. The egg roll is an experiment. I'm going to make it myself, bake it instead of fry it, and hope that it gets crisp enough for me to eat. The filling will be shredded cabbage, carrots & shrimp. I'll make the sweet & sour sauce using rice wine vinegar, reduced sugar catsup, soy sauce, pineapple juice, & Truvia.
This morning's exercise class will be step aerobics.
Have a great day!
Jean
Note: I eat 8+ times a day, but very small amounts (a few bites) each time. For example, when I list banana w/ peanut butter, it's a few slices of banana, not a whole one.

I was wondering about your protein latte? Is thus a protein powdered latte mix thing?

I use Click vanilla latte protein powder mixed with unsweetened vanilla almond milk.
I don't know if Click is available in retail stores. I used to buy it at drinkclick.com, and now I buy it at amazon through their subscribe and save program.
