What are you eating today (Friday) or yesterday?
More rain today. Bah!
This is the first Friday I've had off in about 3 months, and I don't have to be at wor****il 5 pm Saturday, so for once I'm in a position to say: TGIF!
I spent too much time sitting yesterday. I got all caught up in a non-JCP work project (a cover for the new FB page of OutsideIN, my friend's new non-profit business), ignored every hunger, pain and fatigue signal my body was sending me, and ended up with a headache and a lot of flaws in the work product. You'd think I'd know better. Some lessons need to be repeated a million times before we even begin to "get" them.
Today's food plan:
B: protein latte
S: ricotta cheesecake fluff w/ blueberry fiber crisps
S: banana & peanut butter
L: leftover lamb & eggplant-tomato salad
S: smoked salmon roll-ups w/ cream cheese & caviar
S: raw sugar snap peas
D: Ethiopian spiced salmon, baked pearl onions & cranberries, sage-oat pancakes
S: peanut butter banana chips
Having caviar as a snack is a rare treat. It's super expensive, but fortunately a little bit goes a long way. The Ethiopian spice mixture includes cumin, coriander, and several other things I've forgotten since I mixed it up a few months ago.
Today's workout will be step aerobics.
Have a great day!
Jean

Sorry about the weather Jean. Yeah- sometimes it takes more than one mistake to learn a lesson. Hopefully next time you will listen to your body a little better. It is easy to get caught up in a project.
I just got back from 30 min. on the treadmill. I thought about doing "carb cycling" but have decided against it. What I need to do is eat the way I will for the rest of my life. A true lifestyle change. Here's the plan for today
B- greek yougurt and fiber one cereal
S- protein shake
L- fish, whole grain muffing and roasted squash.
S- bannana and 1 string cheese
S- 1/4 c nuts
D- eggs and turkey bacon
I think that eating the way you will for the rest of your life is a wise choice. Carb cycling or other "alternative" diets can be helpful short-term, but for me, it's too hard to stay with them indefinitely.

I have been coming into work late for a couple of Fridays now, had a little ingrown toenail issue, so I had to come every Friday morning for rechecks. I took advantage and have been taking a spinning class I normally wouldn't be able to take cause I would be at work. And now I love this class so much, but I think this will be my last recheck, so no more early morning spin class! Bah humbug!
Breakfast;
Yogurt plain non fat
Strawberry
Fiber cereal
Almonds
Spinning class! DONE!
Lunch: same as breakfast (Too lazy)
Snack:
cottage cheese
Cantaloupe
Dinner:
Chicken salad
Chopped peppers
Spinach
Almonds
Oilive oil
