As we used to chant when I was a kid, "Rain, rain, go away. Come again some other day."

So much for the northwest TN weather report. On to the food report.

Today's food plan:
B: protein latte
S: ricotta cheesecake fluff w/ blueberry fiber crisps
S: banana w/ peanut butter
L: veggie spring rolls
S: apple & gouda cheese
S: popcorn
D: lemon mustard lamb chop, eggplant & tomato salad
S: peanut butter banana chips

If you've been reading this thread and wondering what the point of it is, I'll tell you the 4 main reasons:
1. eating accountability (reporting your food intake to someone else) helps keep me honest & on track
2. planning my food in advance helps keep me on track and prevents risky eating because if I'm too hungry, I tend to
make poor food choices and suffer side effects from eating too fast
3. this thread is a good place to get food/meal/snack ideas, and that's helpful because when I get bored with my
food, I tend to make poor food choices
4. it's a place where we can talk about our eating (and just about anything else) without drama

Have a super day!

Jean

have to take our granddaughter to the funeral of her friends younger brother over lunchtime.

I try not to put off until tomorrow what really needs to be started today, but taking your granddaughter to that funeral today would be a mighty good reason so start your protein blitz tomorrow.

I use my phone app alot But this can be helpful to publicly post too.

I still weigh and measure out my foods. Since I don't fully trust my "eating until satisfied" feelings yet. I am getting better though.

4:30 am Breakfast:

Plain far free yogurt

Strawberry

Organic fiber smart cereal

Almonds

Work out with trainer

Followed by 30 minutes on elipticle ( I figure I might as well and burn some more while I watch morning news on the gyms tv, I go easy during that time)

A.M. Snack:

EAS protein shake

Lunch: ( aiming for 1 plant based meal at least once a day, part of my New Years resolution)

Quinoa

Edamame's

Almonds

Peppers

Raisins

Chipotle flavored olive oil

Spinach

3 mile brisk walk

Afternoon snack:

Yo plait key lime Greek yogurt! = 13 grams of protein on that little container!

W/ more fiber cereal on top.

Dinner: ( left overs)

Spaghetti squash

Ground turkey

W/ Marinera sauce

The END!
