Why all of a "Sudden" Band Removals and "Problems" Shocking?
She does tend to do that...and then she deactivates and comes back. What incarnation is this? Seven? Eight?
I see I'm blocked by yet another person who doesn't like to hear the truth...until they start having problems. Oh well, I just counterblock because I'm sick of helping clueless people.

Hmmm it appears Ms Naomi reads a completely different forum than I do. My post was over half way down the page long after some other surgery folks warned her off all I did was agree and share MY personal experience and some recent facts. How silly of me to lead the discussion and rally the troops, oh that I had that much power! Oh yes she does go on and on I usually can't finish reading them because of the length so I don't have to try to understand the ramblings. I do believe it is she who blathers on and bores readers ad nauseum, like you said. We must be very powerful if we cause such distress, we must be rock stars!!
"Band bashers" just tell it like it is. Nothing wrong with speaking the truth, especially when it's in an effort to help others and prevent them from going through what most of us have been through with the band. You may see this forum as "negative", but remember............many of us put aside our differences with you to try to SUPPORT YOU while you were having your latest series of band complications. I realize that you love your band(s), but most of us that have had band complications do not. We want nothing more than to voice our opinions, as the band cheerleaders have done. It doesn't have to be a "negative" forum. Stating facts should always be encouraged.
There is absolutely no sane reason to put up with the pain, inconvenience and dangers of a lap band. Anyone who has had one and revised to another surgery will tell you, and anyone considering the band, that one does not have to live like that. It's absolutely INSANE.
The band is not safe by any measure. It is just a miserable and unwise way to live.
