My New Years Plan

What is your New Years Plan?
I plan to weigh-in on Jan 2. My goal for 2013 is to get to 199. I will know when I weigh in how much I need to lose. I plan to use myfitnesspal.com and my fitbit to reach my goal. My band may or may not help me in my 2013 journey but I will not let the bands cooperation or non cooperation determine my success or define me.
What is your goal and plan to attain that goal? I hope to remember on Dec. 31, 2013 to repost the link to this thread.
I am really good about "eating clean", but I have begun eating at least 1 meal a day with out any animal protein, and have been using more of a plant based selection. Loving my quinoa : ) and chick peas! Ummmmm ummmm good!
And on a more personal note, I am a Christian, but sometimes I get caught up in the "worldly" sense of life. So I want to walk closer with my God.
Happy new year!

Exercise is not a LUXURY!
Exercise is a NECESSITY
My plans for 2013 include:
> Lose another 5 lbs, to get back to my goal weight plus a little below it so I have some wiggle room. My weight loss is very slow now so I think I'll get to that weight by the end of February.
> Continue to exercise 5 days a week. I do a variety of classes (cardio, step aerobics, weight/resistance training, Pilates, yoga) so I don't get bored. Exercise is a necessity for me, both for physical and mental health.
> Increase the time I spend on helping a local acquaintance start a non-profit business called OutsideIN. Doing something like that was one of my resolutions for 2012. God didn't hand me the OutsideIN project until October 2012, but better late than never. It's a great opportunity for me and for many other people in this small town.
> Continue to work on managing my type 2 diabetes as a sleevester with blood glucose control problems. In October my A1C was 5.8 . An A1C under 6 is considered good, but 5.8 is high for me, so I'd like to get it back down to my lowest reading of 5.3.

My plan for 2013 is to get more fit. I have done well with walking as much as I can but I can do much better. I will also try to incorporate other types of exercise as well. A new wls support group has been formed in a community about 20 miles from us so I will plan to make that a priority. I will continue to monitor my eating so that I don't blow this chance with a new tool.
I have become much more active in our community and will continue with new challenges. Most of all I will trust God to care for us in the new challenges that face our family. God is good.
My new years plan started today. I am going to try carb cycling. Ordered a book on it that wont come for another few days. In the mean time I am eating ultra low carb. I am also going to workout with my trainer doing weights 4 days a week (no blowing it off lol) and cardio at least 5 days a week.
I was banded 9/09 and successfully lost my excess weight the first 10 months (107 pounds). Unfortunately, I gained back about half- never ever thought that would happen.
I am also going to stop drinking, that has been a huge factor in the weight gain for sure.
I can do it, and so can you- whatever your goals are.
