Filling Breakfast food ideas?
Lots of bandsters are tighter in the morning than later in the day, but maybe you need a slight unfill so that you can eat solid, satisfying food at any time of day?
I find oatmeal with fruit & nuts very filling.

Like many, I cannot eat first thing - if you are tight and find breakfast difficult, what do you mean by needing something filling? Do you mean you are hungry but can't eat? I can't eat in the morning but don't feel hungry so it is easy; I just have a skinny latte and eat mid morning. But if you are hungry and still can't eat, you could try a protein drink.
Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.
Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!
But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
I have eaten eggs every day for 11 years. I started when I had my Bypass in 2002 and have continued with the Band Over Bypass (BOB). I eat either 2-3 egg omlette (with egg beaters) and ham, cheese and veggie or I make crust less quiche with bacon or ham and cheese and tomatoes. I love it and It fills me up.
As said, it is very typical to be pretty tight in the morning. Also, I agree a protein shake for breakfast may be the answer. If your band is working as it should the rest of the day, I wouldn't do anything and just accept that you can't do solids first thing. By working the way it should, I mean for the rest of the day you are able to eat solid food, the band friendly ones, and are satisfied for 4 hours or so.
