Hello,

Can you post your breakfast menu I need to eat something filling not to high in calories.  A fill is not possible I am to tight and I am at a point where I can't take anymore fills without getting sick everything.  The morning is the worse time for me any ideas?

Thanks

Lots of bandsters are tighter in the morning than later in the day, but maybe you need a slight unfill so that you can eat solid, satisfying food at any time of day?

I find oatmeal with fruit & nuts very filling.

Like many, I cannot eat first thing - if you are tight and find breakfast difficult, what do you mean by needing something filling? Do you mean you are hungry but can't eat? I can't eat in the morning but don't feel hungry so it is easy; I just have a skinny latte and eat mid morning. But if you are hungry and still can't eat, you could try a protein drink.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

I have eaten eggs every day for 11 years. I started when I had my Bypass in 2002 and have continued with the Band Over Bypass (BOB). I eat either 2-3 egg omlette (with egg beaters) and ham, cheese and veggie or I make crust less quiche with bacon or ham and cheese and tomatoes.  I love it and It fills me up.

As said, it is very typical to be pretty tight in the morning.  Also, I agree a protein shake for breakfast may be the answer.  If your band is working as it should the rest of the day, I wouldn't do anything and just accept that you can't do solids first thing.  By working the way it should, I mean for the rest of the day you are able to eat solid food, the band friendly ones, and are satisfied for 4 hours or so.

I either have yogert or lactaid milk with protein powder , or oatmeal with chia seeds. Without them oatmeal or yorget doesn't keep me full.
