FRIDAY GRATEFUL POST

Good Friday Morning Everyone,

The day everyone has been waiting for is FINALLY here.    Friday....it's really just another day to me since I don't leave me house to work a job.   I am grateful for it though because the weekend is tomorrow and I do get to see and spend more time with my family....that IS if they stay home.   LOL   4 days now till Christmas Day.    I am SO grateful that I am planning to have a successful eating plan for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.    I am SO grateful for this time of year.   I absolutely LOVE Christmas but my Christmas spirit and joy isn't as high as it usually is.    It should be though since this year I have a grandbaby to buy for and to spoil.     I am so grateful for the Teen Challenge men.   I was at their Thursday Night Chapel last night and some of those guys were all bummed out because they would not be allowed to leave and go home for Christmas.    I took them fudge, cookies, and some cake last night.     They appreciate everything you do for them.    I am going to call and talk to the staff member who is over it on Christmas and see if they would allow me to come and visit with them Christmas Day and bring them some more "goodies",     I know how those guys feel because my son was there last year....but we did get to go and spend Christmas with him.    Lots of men there from out of state or guys who their families want to have nothing to do with them due to their past and their addictions.    These guys are changing their lives for the good and overcoming their addictions and they deserve lots of love and support especially at this time of the year.      If you live anywhere near a Teen Challenge....whether it is a Mens, Ladies or Teen Facility....these precious people are there trying to change their lives and overcome either drugs or alcohol addictions......bake a few extra cookies or a cake or two and take it there to give those that are there something nice and homemade to eat for the holiday's.    SO I am very grateful for Teen Challenge today for their program and the lives of the people that are changed.     PLEASE share if you will what you are grateful for today.   Be safe if you are out Christmas shopping this weekend.     Have a blessed day and weekend.
