Pain
I am having pain in my stomach and don't know if its the lap band or what it is. I can't sleep. It's been going on since 10:00 this evening and its now 2:00 a.m. I had lap band surgery 2 and half year ago and I recently had to have all the saline removed from it because it had slpped. I don't know if this pain is from the lap band or what. It feels like needles sticking me and it's located in the abdomen but I don't exactly know where. Should I go to my lap band doctor or to a regular doctor?
Does it feel like gas? if not call you doctor as soon as you can and let him check you out. If the pain is real bad go to the ER. Hope you get relief soon

If you've been diagnosed with a slipped band, the pain is most likely from that and should be checked immediately. The longer you leave it, the worse the damage.
I hope the pain has subsided by now and you've contacted your doctor... any doctor. I would advise that you see your lapband doctor, if possible, but if not, see any medical professional soon.

I've been reading up on gallbladder issues lately since my sister is going to have hers out. The things I've read online say that gall bladder attacks come and go, often occur in the night to the point they wake people up. My sister said when she's having an attack it goes from a 6-9 on the pain scale. they frequently happen after a meal. Definitely need to see a doctor and rule out the gb or see if it's related to the band. An ultrasound of the gb is common to diagnose stones, sludge, etc. Good luck.
