What are you eating today (Friday) or yesterday?
Busy day at work yesterday, and my work day ended with an interesting encounter with a very anxious, obese older lady. I'm convinced that God (coached by my mom) sends me people like her in order to teach me something. I might have 49 obnoxious customers and just one customer like her makes my day a good one. So yesterday was a good day because I managed to make that unhappy customer smile.
Today's food plan:
B: protein latte
S: apple pie oatmeal w/ walnuts
S: ricotta cheesecake fluff w/ blueberry fiber crisps
L: Babybel cheese, red grapes
S: trail mix
S: chocolate cherry protein ball
D: wild pork, pasta w/ broccoli, brie & walnuts
S: peanut butter banana chips
The pork is from a work pal of my husband's, whose own dad hunts wild pigs. I'm OK with eating game but have some strong reservations about this stuff. I made a marinade of vinegar, water and pickling spices and my husband's going to cook it slowly on our cooker grill. Maybe it will be edible. Maybe not.
I think I'm getting a cold (sharing germs is one of the joys of retail work), and I think the drainage is making my sleeve feel "tight" the way it made my band feel tight. So I have to pledge to be extra, extra careful when eating today.
Today's exercise will be cardio blast class.
Have a great day!
Jean

Don't know how I kept it together food/nutritional wise this week, but I held my own. Today is going to be very trying due to my schedule.
B-Fage cherry yogurt w/ walnuts
S-Celery and carrot w/ hummus
L-I have NO idea yet. Will have to wing it as I left my lunch home, ugh!!!!
S-ditto above snack
D-Salmon cake, leftover 3 bean mix w/ LF cheese, roasted brussel sprouts and roasted red pepper strips
Well, at least you have most of your food planned for the day. I don't like winging it either, but the good news is that we all get to start over again tomorrow.
