Since it's 24F here this morning, I want to mention one downside of weight loss. I cannot tolerate the cold now. I never liked it, but now I deeply hate it.

Today's food plan:
B: protein latte
S: banana w/ banana-flavored peanut butter
S: apple pie oatmeal w/ walnuts
L: Babybel cheese, grapes
S: trail mix
S: baby carrots
D: shrimp with tomatillos, polenta
S: cinnamon oat breakfast cookie

My husband found the fancy peanut butter and I was looking forward to trying it. It's good peanut butter, but the banana flavor is very faint. But pairing it with a real banana has to improve it.

Today's exercise will be a butts & guts class. Then it's back to work for me.

Have a deeee-licious day!

Jean

So it's a peanut now? No longer a seahorse?

A long time ago, before ultrasound exams, a pregnant friend told me her baby was a puppy if it was a boy, or a kitten if it was a girl. She had a kitten, who is now a freshman in college.

Maybe you could call it Thumbkin. At least until you know if it's a puppy or a kitten.

I can't get warm, either, Jean. Even my winter coat isn't quite warm enough for walking.

B. pumpkin, cranberry, orange, nut muffin with lots of flaxseed meal, ww flour, etc.

S. One bite of a Pure protein bar before the darned dog ate the rest. He has never heard the rule about dogs and chocolate. If you don't hear it you don't have to worry about it so just continue sitting around shedding.

L. Chobani greek yogurt

S. Shake

S. Almonds

D. Salmon loaf and green beans

S. another muffin

Your menu looks great. Sounds like you're doing better with eating now.

Many Christmases ago, our first French bulldog somehow got on top of our coffee table and ate all the candy (mostly chocolate, some peppermints, individually wrapped) that I'd put out in a bowl while the rest of us were in the dining room eating dinner. He suffered no ill effects, though the wrappers may have tickled a bit on their way out of his butt.

As for the continue sitting around shedding, our dogs do plenty of that too, though it's more like lying around napping and shedding. In between hurling insults at the mail carrier, UPS driver, and leaves blowing across the lawn.
