Failed?

Thank you for your responses.  True, maybe I will have to accept that I will have to work harder.  I have lost some weight, but not what I expected.  My doc wants me to be stable.

I too am biploar and after many years I now realise that NOTHING is as important as keeping it under control.  I used to fiddle about with my meds myself but after too many epsiodes or ups and downs which seriously impacted on my children and partner I would not be prepared to stop my meds again.

For me the band has not worked except intially in the first 6 months.  I am considering reverting to the sleeve.
