What are you eating today (Sunday) or yesterday?
Good morning!
Yesterday was an uneventful day for me. Sometimes that's boring; other times, it's a relief. I have to work today and suspect the store will be fairly quiet because the weather is mild, perfect for stringing lights and other Christmas decorations.
Today's food plan:
B: protein latte
S: baked oatmeal w/ blueberries & raspberries
S: ricotta cheesecake fluff w/ blueberry fiber crisps
L: tomato salad w/ Havarti cheese
S: trail mix
S: maybe a few baby carrots (gotta be careful eating those little guys)
D: crab, onion & brie pizza
S: almond, craisin & sesame seed snack mix
Exercise will be vacuuming my corner of the store. Our custodian quit 2 weeks ago so her duties are shared by all now. I think that vacuum cleaner weighs 500 pounds.

Good morning Jean. 500 pound vacuum eh? You'll get massive arm muscles lugging one of those things around. My dad used to do part custodian work when he retired. he lost 20 pounds of excess body fat lugging a vacuum and industrial mop around. He says he rather misses it now that he's completely retired. Crazy man. Yep yep.
B: cereal, milk, OJ with calcium
S: cheese and whole wheat crackers w/ hummus
L: greek-style lemon and egg soup
S: cheese and spinach quesadilla
D: shrimp and peanut noodles
S: unknown at this point.
Today is rather a kind of bleh day. Getting used to the new prenatal vitamins. They rather make me feel meh. Yesterday it felt like the darn thing was stuck in the port all day and the feeling didn't go away until last night when I got stuck on one bite of dinner. After yarking, the feeling was finally gone. They're not big pills either. Today I thankfully don't have that feeling of something lodged in my stomach, still just feeling rather meh.
Are the vitamins in capsule or tablet form? If they're tablets, are you allowed to cut them with a pill splitter?
Someone (can't remember who) recently told me that her prenatal vitamins made her nauseated, and her OB/GYN thought it was the iron in them that did that.

They're in tablet form. They're not that big, certainly much smaller than the fish oil i was taking. They're on par with the size of a metformin 500mg tablet, just a different shape. I imagine they'd be a lot sharper with jagged edges if I cut them in half though wouldn't they? Actually the pills are designed to combat nausea and they seem to be doing well in that department. Today is the first weekday since I started taking them that I feel great and no worries of nausea. I'll have to see how it does going forward.
I think at this point I just have to have them take restriction out. I have to call the surgeon today when the office is open and beg for an open, even though it's not exactly an emergency, though yarking three days in a row after 1-2 bites of food could be technically considered an emergency, just only at dinner though which is odd.
