two years since i had the lap-band a little disappointed...
I actually don't journal either. But that's because I'm weird and eat the same things practically every day....so why bother journaling. I have a routine that I stick to and as long as I stick to the routine I know the calories are within my comfort range. I always give myself a 200 calorie buffer...so if I grab a sucker or a chocolate kiss I am still ok.
I would recommend you keep a food journal and if you can try and get to a support group with other bandsters.
I host 2 monthly coffee groups for people that are banded. I also still get weighed in every month with my family doctor. Keeping in touch with other bandsters and weighing in every month keeps me motivated and on track.
