So, lets make our appts. with ourselves first! What do you want to    committ to? How many minutes can you devote?

Lets share a "TIP"

I love this KID!!!!!

Here's a little tip to try:

I love watching my Good Morning America at 7 a.m., so I purpose myself to get to gym a few minutes prior to set myself up, wipe down elliptical, locate channel, and set up my machines menu. And I get to see my morning news and complete 30 minutes without any regret.

Whats your "TIP" ? And what are  YOU committing to? Report back on Friday or Saturday with your total.

now that i have a vitamin that counters the morning sickness, i might actually make it to my morning classes and have freedom from my hamster wheel. woot. still 240 minutes, anything over that is gravy.

The tv channels at my gum suck, but they do have ESPN

i watch Monday Night Football (at least an hour) on Momday nights on the elliptical

this morning, I walked TO the gum and did an hour while I watched Law and Order and then walked home ...so 2 hours of exercise.

my ankle is screaming rit now, but a little Aleve should help that!!!

Hey Kath,

just be careful, ice & elevate. We don't want you to be side lined now.  I live 2 miles from gym, Saturdays & Sundays are  great for me in that way, I walk to and from gym.

Only thing I like about the gym is,  I get to catchup on shows sometimes I might no****ched if I were at home. Sure makes time fly by quicker. I LOVE being outdoor! pre-op, I hated to be outdoor!

(((I sorry )))
From Saturday through Friday. Or whatever is your best day to begin with so long as you post results by Friday or Saturday.

I thought I did. But as you may have seen I was having a problem at one point posting yesterday. Came out in multiples, as it wouldn't go through. Ahhhh

I did ten hours last week. Not including two hours of physical therapy.

Great idea! Thanks for doing this.

Oh God, this is kinda stupid but I've just been saying to myself these exact words "get your ass up and do what you said you would do" .  It is because if I had a choice, I'd choose to do what feels easier - NOTHING!!!  I feel so unmotivated that lately I've had to do this with lots of things even washing dishes sometimes.  It is working when nothing else has so for now, I will stick to it kiss.

What I found that helps is not over committing to exercise because then I feel like I suck - for a lack of better words.  So I commit to 15 minutes daily on the bike, 100 crunches, and free arm weights every other day.  I end up doing more than I committed to so I feel better about myself.  Setting the bar too high beats me up psychologically.  I also like breaking up my workout throughout the day and incorporating stairs and walking whenever I can.

All best,

L
