What are you eating today (Tuesday) or yesterday?

Today is my only day off this week, and will be one filled with chores and errands.

My food plan is:
B: protein latte
S: French toast sandwich w/ banana & peanut butter (not sure how much of it I'll be able to eat)
S: ricotta cheesecake fluff w/ blueberry fiber crisps
L: leftover beef stroganoff
S: leftover spinach salad
S: pistachios
D: chicken w/ creamy chive sauce, Brussels sprouts salad, barley
S: almond, craisin & sesame seed snack mix

The beef stroganoff was wonderful but I had another stuck episode while eating it. The meat was very tender and I was eating slowly but probably not paying enough attention because I was too busy telling my husband about the latest stupid dog trick. When we were first married, we were working opposite shifts and promised each other to sit down to a meal together at least once a day. I think that practice has helped cement our marriage, but there have been times since my WLS that I felt like I need to eat in solitary confinement so I can focus on eating instead of discussion.

This morning is weights and resistance training class.

Ready to be back on track after the holiday.  I worked with my trainer- legs.  I am sure I will be sore tomorrow, a good thing.

B- eggs and lite sausage

S- Protein shake

L- fish and veggie

S- low fat cheese

D- chicken sausage and veggie

S- 1/4c nuts

I can only tolerate a couple of small bites of meat yet. My surgeon and the nut assure me that by 6 months I will be able to handle it. In foods you have progressed much faster than I but perhaps it just caught you.

B. protein cappuccino

S. shake

L. chili

S. protein bar

S. Almonds and craisens

D. salmon

S. protein puffs and a tiny slice of pumpkin cream pie

L: broccoli and cheddar soup with a few bites of salad, milk

S: yogurt

D: probably a stuffed pepper.

S: protein shake

 

Exercise; i didn't make it to my morning class. morning sickness knocked me on my butt, which is strange because i usually only get that in the afternoon or evening. however, i did traipse across the university campus this morning, which was forty minutes of walking to and from my car (up and down hills), so hopefully that helps for something because my knee is an unhappy knee due to the cold weather and snow.
