do you count dancing as exercising? i'll be visiting my best friend over thanksgiving and she intends to drag me out to a smoke-free (thank god) dance club the day before thanksgiving and make me dance until 3am :)

Hey!!!  I plan to bundle up and walk the park in my neighborhood - it is 3.5 miles.  With the walk to and from the park, and even 4 miles.  I also want to do 3 spaced out 10 minute segments on my stationary bike (1 on Spinner).  I've ALWAYS gone nuts on Thanksgiving day for fear of a massive gain so I've hit the gym in the AM, compulsively went up and down stairs, taken walks with my sister after a meal.  My Family Thanksgiving meal traditionally contains lots of carbs besides the turkey protein - mash potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, turnips, creamed carrots - creamed everything for that matter   . . .  pies, cakes, cookies ugh!!!

No way that I am not going to eat especially with Mom not here ( that is what I think, but who knows) - we are going to try to duplicate my Mom's cooking.  She cooked everything every single year while we all assisted.  This year is going to be hard without her because truly, she was the absolute best Mom ever.  Anyways, onward!  It was very important to her that I take care of myself and not end up sick like her.  She pushed me off to Weigh****chers, to exercise, to have my Sleeve - she was my greatest support in this battle so I honor her this Thanksgiving by being mindful enjoying family, friends, and taking care of myself at the same time.

I am still getting my hour of exercise in and didn't get to update at home because I was having issues posting with my little tablet device.
