What are you eating today (Monday) or yesterday?
Back to work today, at least for many of us. As much as I love being at home, I know I need to get out and about and be with other humans (instead of just dogs). Otherwise I get squirrely from spending too much time in my head. So even though I earn a very meager wage at JCP, the job pays me a dividend that can't be measured.
The diabetes med I'm taking now has had no effect on my blood glucose levels so far. And no side effects, so that's good.
Today's food plan:
B: protein latte
S: scrambled egg beater w/ cottage cheese & tomato
S: cinnamon oatmeal breakfast cookie
L: leftover Santa Fe soup
S: trail mix
S: raw sugar snap peas
D: crock pot beans & veggies w/ venison ham
S: almond, craisin & sesame seed snack mix
The venison ham is OK, but my husband likes it better than I do. It's what southerners call "country ham" - very chewy, very salty - so it'll add flavor to the dish even if I don't eat it.
This morning's exercise class is step aerobics.
