What are you eating today (Thursday) or yesterday?
Good morning. I know there are more people reading this thread than there are people posting on it. It'd make me very happy if some of you lurkers would come out of hiding and speak up now and then! If you're not proud of your food choices, this is a good place to talk about that and ask for suggestions.
I'm off to Memphis today to see an endocrinologist about my insulin (blood glucose) and grehlin (hunger) problems. I could've found a specialist closer to home, but wanted to see someone who's had some experience with WLS patients. Wish me luck.
Today's food plan:
B: protein latte
S: chocolate cherry protein balls
S: cinnamon oatmeal breakfast cookie
L: cheddar cheese stick
S: almonds
D: Thai pork patties, broccoli & cauliflower
S: peanut butter banana bar
No exercise class today because of the 6-hour round trip schleppe to Memphis.
Have a great day!
Jean

struggling with nausea this morning. so i avoided the pool this morning. didn't want to take a chance of barfing in the pool. i figured the other ladies might not be to understanding as to the reason why. so i guess for now i will munch on some more crackers and then if i'm feeling better this afternoon, walk on my treadmill to make up for the loss of minutes in the pool.
I hope to see my nut tomorrow about the calorie defecit.
B. Too queasy to eat for some reason
S. shake
L protein soup
D. crab meat mixed with cream cheese, green chilies and ripe olives topped with cheese and baked. Got in about 2 oz of it which is a huge amount for me. I feel a little too full.
I hope your trip today was fruitful. Let us know, please.
That crab concoction sounds wonderful.
I'm glad to hear that you're (finally) seeing your nut about the calorie deficit and expect a full report of the visit.
