What are you eating today (Monday) or yesterday?

Yesterday, Veteran's Day, was a hard day for me emotionally because both my parents (both deceased) were in the military. My mom, who was a communications officer in the Coast Guard during WWll and prouder of her military service than anything else in her life, died 3 years ago and while the anniversary of her death is hard, Veteran's Day is even harder for me.

By the time I got home from work at 6:30 pm yesterday, I was too hungry to eat my dinner carefully. For a few minutes there, I thought it was all going to come back up, but it didn't.

Today's food plan:
B: protein latte
S: scrambled egg beater w/ cheese
S: coconut blueberry oat breakfast cookie
L: black bean burger, tomato, avocad (eaten S-L-O-W-L-Y this time)
S: almond, craisin & sesame seed snack mix
S: raw sugar snap peas
D: leftover Buffalo chicken casserole, Brussels sprouts
S: peanut butter banana bar

This morning is step aerobics class. I don't have to be at wor****il 3:15 pm so I have no excuse not to tackle the long list of projects that have been accumulating on my desk.

Have a great day!

Jean
