What are you eating today (Tuesday) or yesterday?

Don't forget to vote today!

We had some excitement at JCP last night, when our mentally ill shoplifter came back. I could hear her before I could see her (she was at the front of the store, I was at the back). She went from screaming to smiling and back to screaming in a manner of minutes. A very large police officer (summoned by the supervisor) stood by to make sure she left without creating more havoc and without stolen merchandise. Watching and interacting with this woman reminds me to be grateful for my own relatively good mental health.

Today's food plan:

B: protein latte
S: scrambled egg beater w/ cheese & tomato
S: cinnamon protein bread
L: meatloaf, Brussels sprouts
S: almond, craisin & sesame seed snack mix
S: sugar snap peas
D: chicken w/ artichokes, Brussels sprouts
S: coconut blueberry oat breakfast cookie

This morning's exercise class is weights/resistance training.

It's going to take me a while to adjust to the time change, but the household member most upset by it is our pug, Polly. Her internal clock tells her it's her 4 pm suppertime when the clock on the kitchen wall says it's 3 pm, and she is indignant at having to wait for the kitchen clock to catch up to her tummy clock.

I need to get used to the time change too- me and my niece and nephew both got up very early.  I am still in Orlando on vacation.  Have been eating really good and have worked out a couple of the days- treadmill for 30.

B- eggs and turkey sausage

S- LC protein shake

L- pork loin and brocolli

S- cheese

D- fish and veggies at Ruby Tuesdays

S- 1/4c nuts

We were planning on Ruby Tuesday last night but the kids really wanted Golden Caral- they dropped my off at the hotel and I had a healthy dinner.  Feeling very in control of my eating- went a while having a really hard time so it feels great.

Same way with my pug Chester. Since the time change, he does his "catch-my-tail-I'm-hungry" dance at 4 p.m.

Polly definitely takes after her mother - food is top priority, and she acts like a dizzy blonde (even though she's black) when the food comes out. She claims that Milk Bones make her tail curlier.

Only Chester is allowed to make her tail curlier!

Voted. What a headache. Second presidential election in a row where somehow they can't find my records which requires me to go from locationn to location to location to try vote. what should only take a few minutes, seems to take two hours ever since moving to this state. add into the fact that i only can vote presidential and never anything local or state, election day just puts me in a  foul mood at this point. blush

That would put me in a foul mood, too.

Early voting here started a few weeks ago, and I voted on the day it began because I didn't want to leave it to the last minute and deal with lines and screw-ups.

yep that will teach me. i didn't believe they could bungle it again just four years later at the next election. more the fool i for giving them more credit than they deserved. it's just another reason to dislike the state i live in. never had these troubles in my old state.
