Thanks Melly! I am willing to try one last time to see if my band will work and most importantly I am hoping that repairing my hernia will lessens my back, chest pains and years of gastric reflux issues.

All best Nana!  I was trying to find the email between my surgeon and I about being re-banded.  I was over the moon at the possibility.  We were going to take a try at an AP band (lower pressured) as our type of band (old 4cc) was too hard on my esophagus. Don't know if you've seen and touched the difference of these bands - I did and if you haven't, you should.  We all fit a different glass slipper :).

You are in a hard place - a terrifying place.  I am so glad you feel some relief.  I only wish you well.  My best guy friend is well satisfied with his hernia repair and hosts of other issues.  He is happy and satisfied and I wish that on you too.

May God Bless you.

Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be a simple hernia repair and that your band stays out Naomi.

Thanks Judy for your well wishes! I am hoping its only a simple hernia repair and not a big mess when the surgeon gets in there.

That is good news Nana!  You have been my inspiration and the voice of reason in a sea of negatives.

Sending lots of hugs for your upcoming surgery!

Thank you very much for your well wishes! laughI try to report what is truly happening to me and find solutions instead of being negative without any type of explanation, and I am hoping what I am experiencing can help others one day.
