throwing up after eating and continuing to eat
I am not even sure how to approach this one. But say if you are eating to the point you are throwing up you need to stop now. You are going to cause damage to yourself and possibly cause your band to slip. Talk to your doctor. You have a problem that the band can not help you with. It will not make you stop over eating you need to do that yourself. You are going way pass the point of full of you are throwing up, measure your food and only eat that, then try waiting an hour before eating more. maybe you will feel full and not continue eating. Hope you get some help soon before you cause damage to yourself. Try a slight unfill like .5cc

Continuing to eat after you've regurgitate food is a really bad idea. After one PB (regurgitation), your esophagus and stomach are inflamed and irritated, and every bite of food you take after that just makes it worse. You can get into an endless cycle of eat-puke-eat-puke. So when you PB, you really need to stop eating and follow a liquid diet for at least 24 hours to allow everything in there to calm down again.
It's possible that the fill you just got is too much, but until you stop the eat-PB-eat-PB business, there's no way to fairly judge that. So after you've done liquids for 24 hours, slowly transition to purees, then soft foods (that you can cut with the side of a fork), and then solid foods. Do your best to practice good band eating skills: take tiny bites, chew very well, eat slowly, don't drink while you eat, avoid dry meats, etc. If you're still having problems after a few days of that, call your surgeon to schedule a small unfill.
I think you also need to think about the "can't eat much but still want to" part. Is the wanting based on physical hunger, or is it an emotional thing? If it's because of physical hunger, try not to let yourself get so hungry that you lose your good judgment when mealtime comes. Schedule small, healthy snacks into your day. If the wanting isn't related to physical hunger (and I think all of us struggle with that), you might find it helpful to talk about it with your support group and find out what other people are doing to manage emotional eating.

Isn't it funny that a behavior that would have disgusted us before surgery seems almost normal now.
It sound like you are vomiting because of volume issues-in other words, you eat more than you should, vomit, and then eat more than you should again.
This behavior is not only bad for your stomach (as Jean said, you are causing inflammation and irritation to the stomach and stoma) but it is bad for your mind set. Occasionally you are going to get away with this, and in time you are teaching yourself one way to "eat around the band".
Stop eating so much that you vomit in the first place-pay attention to the "soft stop signs" like hiccuping, runny nose, sliming etc if you don't actually feel full. And if you do vomit, then by all means don't eat more.
Please don't think I am chastising you. I am telling you from my own personal experience that this behavior will put weight back on you, no matter how many fills you get.
OK I'll come right out and say what the others have hinted at, you need to get yourself to some counceling. This is bordering on an eating disorder not to mention the damage it is doing to your band and digestive system, eventually it will damage your teeth also with all the stomach acid that is coming up. You need to do as the others have said measure your amount of food, eat slowly and chew to a liquid. The size of the bite should be that of a pencil eraser.
Anytime you vomit you need to do liquids for at least 24 hrs. probably longer for you because you've already caused irritation and swelling by eating again after vomiting. You really need to contact tour surgeon and discuss what is going on as he may be able to help but you must get help from somewhere immediately. I wish you luck but you must act soon to take care of yourself and your band!
