Broken Clasp/buckle????

I've never heard of a broken clasp or as he referred to it the buckle. If anyone has info as to how this happens idd really appreciate it. I can't seem to find anything on the net :o(

If the band is defective or it isn't installed properly in the first place, the clasp that holds the "circle" of the band together can either break or just come undone. It's not very common, but it can happen.
