What are you eating today (Wednesday) or yesterday?

My eating did not go according to plan yesterday because instead of going home after exercise class, I went to an impromptu meeting at a friend's house to discuss her plans to establish a non-profit business to help marginalized people (mostly women) in this area. Getting involved in some kind of community service was one of my goals for 2012, so I'm glad that she invited me to participate, but it sure messed up my day. She served coffee and blueberry muffins. I thought I might nibble on a muffin (just to be polite, you know) but found myself uninterested in it. Anyway, that meeting pushed a few other chores and errands out of my day and my eating was haphazard as a result. Nothing awful, but I don't like grabbing quick snacks because it's too easy to grab something that's fast but not healthy. And the chores I was going to do yesterday will have to be crammed into today, before I leave for work at 2:45 pm. And God help me, not only is this Halloween, it's also full moon time.

Today's food plan:
B: protein latte
S: coconut, blueberry oat breakfast cookie
S: Greek yogurt w/ blueberries & walnuts
L: leftover chicken salad
S: almond, craisin & sesame seed snack mix
S: trail mix
D: apple slices w/ light Alouette cheese spread
S: peanut butter banana bar

This morning's exercise class is Fit & Firm (butts & guts).

I didn't have power from Monday evening into early Wednesday morning. it severely hampered food choices, however I did the best I could with what I had to work with, not too badly all points considered. The power died just as I finished cooking dinner on Monday so at least Monday wasn't affected. I must also find something else to do for exercise this week. My community center has been turned into a shelter for peeps that still don't have power, so the pool is closed and so are the facilities that the exercise equipment is located.

Tuesday:

B: oatmeal and tomato juice (at a restaurant down at my in-laws house that had power)

S: peanut butter and whole wheat crackers

S: emerald 100 calorie travel pack

L: caesar salad with grilled chicken

S: peanut butter with whole wheat crackers

D: lasagna

Wednesday

B: protein shake

S: tuna salad lunch kit

S: protein bar

L: turkey chili

S: --

D: sante fe chicken soup
