What are you eating today (Saturday) or yesterday?

While the Northeast is bracing itself for a superstorm, my corner of TN is mired in cold, wet, windy weather. After living down here for 13 years, I've gotten to be a big baby when it comes to cold weather. Wah!

Yesterday I was able to eat 1/4 of an 8" homemade pizza. That is great progress for me, but it was bittersweet because the pizza tasted wonderful and I really wanted another piece. Overeating is just as unpleasant with my sleeve as it was with my band, so I just put my plate in the dishwasher and got busy cleaning the kitchen.

Today's food plan:

B: protein latte

S: Greek yogurt w/ blueberries & walnuts

S: blueberry oat breakfast "cookie"

L: leftover kale & fennel salad w/ cashews

S: raw fennel

S: almond, sesame seed & craisin snack mix

D: leftover pizza

S: peanut butter banana bar

I'm going grocery shopping today and have to work tonight. I don't want to have to leave the house tomorrow. Time to snuggle up with a dog or 2 or 9...

B: Leftover beef tips (i found her suggestion to poaching/boiling the beef made it tender enough to consume)

S: Protein shake

S: Sesame Rice Crackers with Hummus

L: unknown going to the in-laws today, so lord only knows what fast food crap i'll get roped into :) maybe i'll snag one of my junky tuna salad kits just in case. it's still healthier than a lunch made of taco bell. blush

S: one of my emerald 100 calorie travel snack packs

S: fat free choc pudding since it's travels well.

D: again, lord only knows with the in-laws

S: probably a protein shake to make up for the protein i'm missing during the day

 

Exercise: yard work prepping it for the winter season that's almost upon us. i'll be good and sore tonight. :)
