What are you eating today (Saturday) or yesterday?

Do any of you find it more difficult to manage your eating on weekends? I don't (since I work most weekends) but I've noticed that even advance planners find it hard to plan or predict for weekend eating. Maybe because of social events and/or family demands?

My eating was OK yesterday. I worked as a "floater" and ran myself ragged back and forth between departments. Don't have to be at wor****il 3:30 pm today, so I'm taking it slow this morning.

Today's food plan:
B: protein latte
S: scrambled egg beater w/ cheese
S: baked oatmeal w/ blueberries & walnuts
L: leftover crab rangoon
S: trail mix
D: smoked turkey & cheese roll-up
S: peanut butter banana bar

No formal exercise today. Which is fine because between Cardio Blast class and covering every square inch of the store 10 times over yesterday, I'm ready for a rest.

What's on your agenda for the weekend?

Jean

I find it harder to follow my plan on the weekends. Too many things can throw a curve to my choices.
today I am starting off right though
Ran/race walked 4 miles this morning in an hour, preparing for my 8Th 5k next Sunday!

after my run: Brunch: 2 eggs with Pam, 2 turkey sausage, half cup homemade fried potatoes
and 1 slice of whole wheat toast-ate very slow so wouldn't get stuck...grrrrrr

Lunch: going to have a lettuce, tomato, cucumber salad with light dressing with 2 oz protein either tuna or lunch meat.

Dinner: left over homemade chili with small salad.

snack: 100 calorie almonds

going to get in at least 3 20oz bottles of water/crystal light.

Later maybe another walk with the dog and grandson.

What are the spices you use for the spiced cucumber?

The vegetarian stir-fry sounds yummy. I might put some tofu cubes in it to boost the protein content.

i'm not allowed to bring tofu in the house in threat of pain and dismemberment. :) i wasn't too worried, i definitely got my protein count in for the day, and for the amount of food i eat anyhow, it wasn't a bad mix.

as for spices, i use black sesame, fresh black peppercorn, coarsely ground sea salt, and a hint of chinese ginger

Sounds a bit like the Asian cucumber salad I make. We love anything sesame flavored!
