Today is my 9-week surgiversary. I've lost 19 lbs (yeah!) and have made a little bit of progress in adjusting to my sleeve. Still struggling with constant hunger but it doesn't seem quite as ferocious as it was. A hemoccult test showed that my anemia is probably the result of a GI bleed., which is scary, especially since my mom had colon cancer. So I have an appt. with my gastro doc and will probably be having a colonoscopy and maybe an upper endoscopy in the near future. Lotsa fun. The good news is that the iron supplement I'm taking has restored my energy, and that makes it easier for me to tolerate everything else going on. My husband is having a health problem and I'm more concerned about that right now.

Today's food plan:
B: protein latte
S: scrambled Egg Beater w/ cheese
S: ricotta cheesecake fluff w/ blueberry fiber crisps
L: tomato salad w/ Havarti cheese
S: trail mix
S: cashews
D: black bean burger w/ cheese, avocado, & tomato
S: peanut butter banana bar

This morning's exercise class is yoga/PIlates. I'm a bit wary of driving to the fitness studio because we had a bad storm last night with scary winds. I saw a lot of tree limbs in the road when driving home from work last night in that storm.

Have a super day!
Jean
