Question about feeling full when it is about time for a fill

I have a fill coming up on 10/25.  I have been needing this fill for about a month now.  During the time between fils, do you ever get the feeling that you are not able to get that "Full," feeling?  My doc said that it is normal and that I should eat until I am full.

Since being banded, I have never gotten the old "full" feeling.  Its more like being "satisfied".  After two years of being banded, I can't eat more than 1/2 a hamburger and I never get the fries. I could eat them if I wanted but I just don't desire them anymore.  If I tried to eat the whole burger, I would ended up PB'ng because it would be too much for my pouch.  Ive learned to eat a few leisurely bites and ask myself if its "enough".     I don't miss that "full" feeling at all but I enjoy being satisfied at less than 1/2 that I used to put away.

5.0 cc in a 10cc lapband  (four  fills) 1 unfill of .5cc  on 5/24/2011.
.5 fill  March 2012. unfill of .25cc May 2012.  Unfill of .5cc June 2014.

Still with my lapband with no plans for revision. Band working well since

last small unfill.

I don't believe we should eat until full, that's why we got fat to begin with. Most of us have no clue what a proper amount of food is. I was told to eat a certain amount and no more. That amount was 1/2 to 1 1/2 cups max. I rarely could eat the 1 cup once I had some restriction. I always started with protein, then veggies and IF I was still hungry a healthy carb. I rarely ate the carb, was too full.

I agree with you on those points.
When I first got banded on 8/30/12, I was able to get that, "Full," sensation after eating very little.  I had to have 3cc taken out (before I had my first fill) and have since had a fill of 1.5cc.  that, "Full feeling," was not a matter of being STUFFED, but a complete feeling of satiation.  Now, I do not have that feeling and am tempted to eat more, but I have learned to NOT eat the extra.  However, I did like having the feeling that I was full and I was not tempted to eat more then.

I never had a full filling.  I just ate what I was told to in the amount I was told.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
