Very frustrated.

 When I got the lap band, I lost 70 lbs.  Since then I have gained 30.  I had another fill yesterday, I pray that this helps.  I am on a medication which causes weight gain, and my doc won't take me off.  I exercise almost every day, and diet.  I pray that I can lose weight again.  Michelle.

 I really wish that I had the gastric bypass instead of the lap band.

 If it is the medication that is causing you to gain weight, it wouldnt matter which wls you had.

You would still gain the weight. Not the bands fault but rather the meds.

I hope that the tables turn for you soon.  I am at a plateu right now, so I know what frustration feels like, but I pray that your ale to gt back on track soon.

Yep if it is the meds no surgery is gonna help with that. Just don't get too tight trying to defeat the meds because then you'll cause all kinds of problems. When the band is too tight it causes vomiting and slips to mention a few.

So sorry you are having issues!  It is so hard when you have gone thru this and than have meds cause issues.

I hope things work out for you.  Please don't allow yourself to get to tight trying to lose as stated.

I've had the band for 20 months, i have 8 1/2 ccs in a 10 band, I don't eat that much and I walk 2 1/2 miles everyday and I've only lost like 35 lbs!!!!  I take a medication for bipolar and it causes weight gain,  I get so frustrated and wish I would had the gastric bypass.  Good luck to you!!
