Do you plan your meals in advance?

Now, I wing it on the weekends and especially if hubby is home because I fix what he likes to eat , ( he works away from home during the week )or we are busy doing things and we go out to eat
Weekends are always rough on me . Hubby is home, kids are in and out, and I have no Zumba . I dont know what we are eating till its almost time for that meal .
Ain't that the truth!

If I plan ahead I can enter all of it into my food log and see where the protein and calories end up. If there are changes that is fine because I know where I am at. If I don't plan ahead I am more likely to graze, eat junk, and end up way off. Hence the trying to plan better.

Planning helps me stay on track for sure. I have a general plan for the week when I go grocery shopping. I tend to stick to a limited menu. I plan in the morning not only what I will eat, but approximately what time. This helps me spread out my food across the day and not get too hungry. The times vary a little depending on when I get up and what I have going on that day- I don't work. I used to journal what I eat, but have gotten into such a routine I don't find it necessary. It started to feel too much like a "diet". Interesting thread Jean. Thanks
