What are you eating today (Thursday)?
I worked last night, went to bed late, and slept through my alarm. As I get older, it takes me longer and longer to get up to speed each morning. Ah, if only I had my 19-yr-old body back (without the fat) along with my 59-yr-old mind!
Today's food plan:
B: protein latte
S: soft-boiled egg
S: cheese protein bread
L: eggplant & tomato salad w/ Havarti cheese
S: trail mix
S: cashews
D: Asian noodles w/ chicken & veggies
S: almond protein balls
I'll probably just eat the chicken & veggies at dinner. Struggling to eat noodles & pasta as a bandster seems to have gotten me out of the habit. In my fat days, my dinner might consist of a mountain of pasta (along with garlic bread, salad, and of course dessert). Now I just don't care about the pasta, but my husband loves it.
I've been measuring my food before I eat dinner, then measuring what's left when I'm done. Depending on the food, it looks like I'm inching up from 1/4 cup to 1/3 cup. I never expected to be happy to be able to eat more, but I'm hoping that eating more will help even out my blood sugar.
I'm skipping this morning's yoga/Pilates class because of oversleeping and to give my body a bit more rest. And I'm hoping that the iron supplement I started taking on Monday will start kicking in soon and start boosting my energy back up.

S: choco protein balls (thanks for the receipe jean from sparklypeople or wherever you got it. those are good ! :) and a great healthy way to get my chooclate fix)
D: chicken stirfry
S: ...undetermined i usually don't need this final snack
Exercise: shot to heck and back. the past three days i've been waking up with migraines, each day a litle worse than the last. the past two days i was able to work through it, but today just kicked me on my rump. hoping a little caffeine from the coffee will help. i don't want to sleep my entire day away to make the pain stop :(

Good morning all !!
Zumba was cancelled this morning and debating if I want to go tonight's class or not . Steelers play tonight and would like to watch the pregame show not sure what I will be doing . I will probably be lazy and skip it tonight knowing me lol. Im tired and sore today anyways.
breakfast sausage, egg and cheese burrito on low carb tortilla shell
Lunch hambuger patty on lettuce leaf, cottage cheese and some green beans.
Dinner not sure my son has his football dinner tonight and dont feel like fixing a big meal. it will either be a perfect portion chicken breast or leftover chilli . Probably the leftover chilli so I dont have to throw it out .
Snacks I bought some of them Special K Popcorn chips think I will have some of them during the game tonight to munch on .

Today has been an eating fail for me - just not feeling hungry so eating has been a chore.
I ran five miles this morning, and was going to try breakfast and just could not stomach the thought of eating for some reason, so it went like this -
Breakfast - 10 ozs coffee, 1 scoop of gold standard protein powder (caramel toffee fudge), 2 tsp sugar free cappachino powder, 1 tablespoon PB2 and 4 ozs of almond milk, all blended up with ice.
Lunch - 2 ozs cheddar cheese cubes and 4 slices of home grown jersey tomato
Dinner - 1 slice of Dr. Otakers Mozzarella Pizza (if I feel like it, if not I will just have a yogurt with a scoop of protein powder in it).
Snack - Mint Cookie Protein shake with almond milk.
