Can we all get along?
I've been out and about and just got home.
I see you've gotten answers about this but, if you'd like to talk more about it, I'd be glad to engage.
I'm not wholly certain what the criteria is but there are friends, bloggers and staff members. You might want to look into Bette's thread about this. I believe the intention is to provide some positive motivation.
A couple of people were offended that the icon was put into their siggy without their concurrence and, when OH determined that they didn't want it, the icon was removed. So it is voluntary.
All I can tell you for sure is that I've been here about four years and, while I have some unpleasant encounters including a couple I instigated, I generally try to be polite and be a positive influence. Sorry, I'm not a Pollyanna, so I might slip if somebody really ****** me off. However, I do my best to abide by TOS.
