No Stephenie, I'm sure I don't. Please let me know when I called you any names. Unless you really think this was about you specifically. Well it isn't. I communicate with several other members of this forum and they won't post any of there questions or concerns because for the most part, the experience sharing has left them feeling condemned and judged.

Each experience is different. Some good some bad. But I truly thought this forum was for support. Instead of perhaps considering what I've addressed it's so much easier to say I'm wrong. No problem.

Stephanie, your experience is yours. Naomi's experience is hers. My experience is mine, and mine alone. Even if a person doesn't suffer from hypochondria if you drop enough seeds, something will grow. If I feed of the band bashing everytime I blupped I'd thing 'OMG my band is killing me!'  I appreciate that everyone shares their ups and downs. But really, the 'well it didn't work well for me. told ya so' approach is right up there with school yard bullying.

Where is the band bashing and where is the bullying?  Links please.

Your definition of "bashing" seems to include telling our experiences if it differs from yours. This is the Lap-Band forum, and ALL bandsters should post here!

There is a BIG DIFFERENCE between bashing and SHARING EXPERIENCE.

I do not see any bashing, just being honest and sharing our experiences with the band.

246 in Dec 2008 before banded 1/28/09 at 215 lbs, band crapped 9/09 at 170 lbs and struggled with it and regained to 203 revised to bypass on 8/1/11 and am very happy.

I think the people who sugarcoat everything and lead others to believe they'll be successful with the band, in spite of its horrible statistics, are doing much more harm, personally.

It's all in how you see it... but no one has a right to tell anyone else how to post and what to say.

What you see as "bashing," someone else sees as honest information that might save them from a world of pain.

I'm so tierd of people whinning about bashing everytime we try to share info to try helping others.

No newbie thinks they will be the one to fail.  I will give anybody that wants it help and info.

But, to come down on Stephanie is way out of line.  She is the most easy going, non judgemental person here.

I can be a ***** when it becomes necessary, but didn't incite being called a school yard bully, for sure...thanks!
