What are you eating today (Monday)?

It's 5:30 am and as dark as the inside of a cow (as my mom used to say). And cold. You might wonder why am I not still asleep in my nice warm bed at this ungodly hour when my morning exercise class isn't until 7:30 am. That's because it takes me so danged long to get up to cruising speed these days. It's hell getting old.

Today's food plan is:
B: protein latte
S: scrambled egg beater
S: cheese protein bread
L: green salad w/ cheese
S: zucchini hummus w/ raw sugar snap peas
S: cashews
D: bacon, corn & spinach pizza
S: choco monkey protein balls

I'm happy to report that I'm able to eat 3-4 of the sugar snap peas. Before my sleeve surgery, they were a favorite veggy snack, so I'm glad that I can still eat them.

This will be my first post-op pizza attempt. If all else fails, I can scrape the goodies off and enjoy them without the crust.

This morning is step aerobics class (45 minutes). Later I'm taking a bag of fat clothes to Goodwill and a bag of books to donate to the library.

My plan for today is:

B - Protein Shake
S - Greek Yogurt
L - Turkey Sandwich
D -  Chicken w/vegs

And I NEED to stay with the plan today after the weekend I had LOL

B: wonton soup
S: protein shake
L: tuna, cucumber, and spinach wheat wrap with ranch dressing
S: yogurt
D: grilled chicken and steamed veggies
S: undecided

Exercise: up in the air as i may have to run a friend to the doctor. i guess i'll be on my treadmill this afternoon if that's the case. if not, i'll bein the pool.

BB:  Coffee with peppermint creamer and Truvia
B:    Premier protein shake (30 g. protein)
S:   So. Beach pb protein bar (100 cal).
L:   Tomato soup, 8 Wheat Thin Crackers
S:   5 Animal Cookies
L:   Homemade vegetable beef soup

Boy, the acid in tomatos does not sit well with me anymore-- paying the price for the soup and burping all afternoon!
