Its been a long time, and sad to say my husband died earlier this year. The past several years has been every difficult I lost myself during my husband's long illness. Fear and anxiety took over, I went into counseling and it helped me so mu*****oping. I had gain back weight and was up as high as 263lbs. He's gone and I think about him everyday, several times a day. At times the sadiness I feel is hard to explain, but I know its all part of the grieving process and I will get through it.

I am now on a new path in life and I am putting myself first. Happy to say I am now back down to 213 this morning. I had my band checked, its ok. I got a fill and definitely feel the difference. With God's grace I will survive.

So sorry for your loss!  I have two friends *****cently lost their husbands suddenly, it's hard to imagine what that must be like.  Congrats on losing 50 lb and focusing on yourself, it's a great way to honor your husbands memory.  After all, you were his #1!  Welcome back!

Very sorry for your loss. Yes, please take care of you. It takes a great amount of time for the pain to lessen. It will take lots of crying out to God to make the pain stop. Remember all the good and let it wrap around you like a warm blanket. In time you pain will subside. You will survive. God doesn't give us anything he know we can't survive. Excellent job on losing the 50. God bless you.

I'm glad you're back, but very sorry to hear about your husband's passing and your grieving process. My mother died 3 years ago and I'm still grieving for her, but it does get easier to bear as time goes on.

I am so sorry to hear that you lost your husband. Grief is a powerful and all consuming thing and I commend you for recognizing your need for counseling and also putting yourself first. Take good care of yourself. Bless you.

Thank you for the kind words.

My band is working great.  As I like to call it--I had TUNE-UP and I believe I am at my sweat spot.  I was so successful when I lost 150lbs with a loose band.  Now that I'm at my sweat spot, the band is doing its job.  But we have to remember the band can be fooled, so you still have to eat a sensible and healthy.

GOD BLESS
