What are you eating today (Monday)?

As the Mamas & the Papas sang, "Monday, Monday, can't trust that day..." Monday means back to work for many of us, and it's hard for me to get fired up for that when 6:00 am is dark and rainy. But work I must.

My food plan for today is:
B: protein latte
S: scrambed Egg Beater & cheese in a crispy won ton "cup"
S: cinnamon protein bread
L: smoked turkey & provolone roll-up
S: trail mix
S: cashews
D: Italian turkey patty, coleslaw, & pasta for my husband
S: choco monkey protein balls

I enjoyed eating those little won ton cups filled with foodies a few years ago, and a Hungry Girl newsletter reminded me of them. They add a nice crunch factor to soft foods like eggs.

This morning is my favorite exercise class, step aerobics. I hardly ever fall off the step any more.

Hope everybody had a good weekend.  Mine was really busy and did not make the best food choices this weekend so time to buckle down again today.

Breakfast  chicken breast, broccolli slaw

Lunch      probably the same thing

Dinner cheeseburger patty wrapped in lettuce wrap and some green breans and four or five fries

Zumba for exercise tonight

Breakfast: Low Carb Chocolate Slim Fast

Lunch:  Chicken Soup

Dinner:  not sure yet, busy weekend and didn't make it to the grocery store.  Most likely it will be pasta, or more soup and grilled cheese...

It's rainy, cold, and gloomy here in Memphis today.

Today's a tough day for me workwise, but here's what's on the menu -

B:  fresh strawberries and kiwi
S:  1/4 c cashews
L:   chunky tomato soup (homemade) w/ 2 tbs smoked cheddar cheese; 1/2 chicked burger
S:  chocolate protein shake
D:  chunky asparagus and onion soup (homemade); 1/2 chicken burger
S:  1/ 4 c nut mixure (cashews, walnuts, pistashios)

Water throughout the day

Hey Jean, its nice to see you posting! I've been MIA on the boards lately, figured I'd join in. Those won ton cups sound good.

I'm decarbing today from all the junk I ate last week and over the weekend so I've been starving today:

B: 1/4 cup cottage cheese, 1/4 cup tuna
S: 1/2 cup greek yogurt
L: 3 oz meat loaf burger
S: Simple Truth Chocolate Protein Bar
D: 3 oz meat loaf burger..green beans
S: Mint Cookie Protein Shake

40 oz of water so far.

Doctor's appointment yesterday -- down 23# since July 28.  I did not get another fill because I am finally able to eat on a more "normal" basis.

BB:   Coffee with Truvia and Vanilla Creamer
B:    Premier Protein Shake (30 g. protein)
L:    Atkin's Sunrise Strawberry/Banana Drink
S:    South Beach Chocolate Covered Soy Beans
D:    Vegetable Beef Soup, homemade
S:    SF English Toffee Frozen Yogurt

Lunch duty at school for the next two days, which always proves to be a challenge for me as the food is just hard to eat, literally "hard."
