What are you eating today (Sunday)?

I think autumn is working its way towards Tennessee. The temp forecast is only in the 60's early in the week. My inner Yankee thinks, "Only? ONLY in the 60's?!" When I was growing up in New England, I once had to wear a snowsuit under my Halloween costume.

My eating went OK yesterday, all things considered. Still struggling with the hunger, but at least I avoided dumping. One of the things I loved about my band was that I could eat such a wide variety of )mostly healthy) foods I like. I thought the sleeve would be the same in that respect, but not so far. But it's still early days yet.

Today's plan:
B: protein latte
S: scrambled egg beaters
S: cinnamon protein bread
L: leftover black-eyed pea/barley/veggy/ham stuff (it looks disgusting but tastes good)
S: Havarti cheese
S: cashews
D: salmon w/ mango mustard (page 275 of Bandwagon Cookery)
S: choco monkey protein balls

No exercise today other than vacuuming and mopping the floors. Two of our dogs have been very busy working on digging the hole to China under our deck, and if you have dogs (or human kids who like to dig) you can imagine what our floors look like.

As we say in the South, have a blessed day!

B: Protein Shake and two strips of turkey bacon
S: maple and brown sugar oatmeal and almond clusters
L: Sante Fe Chicken Soup**
S: some of Jean's ricotta cheesecake fluff (that recipe is really good btw)
D: Tonno Con Piscelli (made with flounder)
S: (if necessary) either a weigh****chers ice cream bar or fat free pudding

Exercise: A cleaning whirlwind :)

**edited, actually opted instead for an open-face turkey bacon and spinach sandwich on a slice of toasted whole grain bread to finish off the bacon so it doesn't go bad.

I'm glad you like the ricotta cheesecake fluff. I'm going to try it as a dip with some Quaker blueberry fiber crisps.

While you're in a cleaning whirlwind, would you be interested in coming over and doing my house? I'd feed you well!

not sure my cleaning prowess of the whirlwind would last the commute

my husband, whom i refer to as mr fussy pants when it comes to eating, loves it and he's not a fan of ricotta cheese at all. what he doesn't know won't hurt him

what he doesn't know won't hurt him

That's my philosophy, too!

We are preparing to leave for the week for camping so meals will be camp stove appropriate.
Today:
B. 7 grain hot cereal
L. Protein soup with non fat dry milk to boost protein
S. Protein shake
S. Wasa crackers with cream cheese or hummus
D. Unknown right now
S. Pudding

Last night I attended a wedding reception where they served pulled pork. I was able to eat about 3 forkfuls and keep it down plus a tablespoon of cheesy potatoes and 1 of green bean casserrole. The pork was my first solid food and it was great! I was extremely well hydrated or none of the above would have worked.

I'm so glad you were able to enjoy some real food!

I hope you're going camping somewhere that isn't too cold...
