How often do you weigh yourself?

When I am home, I weigh daily.
It is a good touchstone for me.    I don't fret until I am over 3 pounds up and then I take corrective action.

I was nervous about being away from my scale for 2 weeks while on vacation.
I came back down 2 pounds.

I could tell by my clothes during the trip that I was ok .......

I kept my weight off for 5 years with no problems, because I weighed every single day (I would fluctuate between 5-6 pounds) when I stopped getting on the scale, that's when I started to gain weight back. I think my scale SHOULD be in charge of me.

Original Lap Band * 9/30/2005 * 4cc 10cm band*,  lost 130 pounds. 7 Great years!

Revision surgery to AP small lap band *11/13/2012*, due to large hiatal hernia. I am hopeful about continuing my band journey uneventful and successful. I loved what my old band did for me and I am looking forward for my new band to Keep my weight downsmiley

It's too easy to be in denial about weight when we don't weigh daily, isn't it? I didn't even own a scale for many of my obese years.

I am a slave to my scale lately. Since I found out I was pregnant I realize I am slowly becoming obsessed.

I had to have my band opened earlier than last pregnancy because I vomited from 24/7 morning sickness. Unfortunately the only thing that quells the queasies are carbs :( with only 4 ccs in my band, I am able to EAT and boy I am hungry ALL the time and nauseous which is a horrible combo because I can't find anything to satisfy me so I end up picking all day long.

I am still wearing my size 8 workpants right now but between the constipation, the comfort food, and NO ENERGY to exercise, I feel enormous, my waistband is TIGHT and I am terrified to weigh in tomorrow morning at the OB office :(

Yes I am beating myself up A LOT. I could cry. :(

Hugs,
Stacy

**EDIT**
I just looked back at my blog on here and I see that at 13 weeks with Gracie I had gained 8 pounds. I am 10 weeks with this one and maybe have gained 4 pounds so that's good right????

I weigh myself a couple of times a week not to see that I'm losing but to ensure that I stay within the same 3-5 lb range which is what I've set for myself.  This helps me keep on point.  My scale is not in charge of me, but I am in charge of it!
