What Are You Eating Today (Friday)?

Well, I didn't get much of anything useful from my dietitian appt. yesterday other than her suggestion that I might be anemic, which would account for the fatigue I've been feeling. I'll have my iron checked next week at my appt. with my internist's diabetes educator/NP. The dietitian said I'm the first sleeve patient she's ever encountered who's hungry, and that sleeve patients rarely dump. Her advice is, "Keep doing the best you can."

Today's food plan:
B: protein latte
S: deviled egg
S: cinnamon protein bread
L: leftover grapefruit & avocado salad w/ Havarti cheese
S: trail mix
S: cashews
D: miso chicken, rice noodles w/ veggies, eggplant (what I'd planned to cook last night, but didn't have the energy for after I got home from Memphis)
S: choco monkey protein balls

This morning's fitness class is called Cardio Blast. Need I say more?

Jean so sorry for your problems with the Sleeve.  One of the ladies in my support group had one a yr ago and she said her hunger has never left her and if she eats anything with sugar she dumps.  She told me the other day if she had known it was going to be like this she would have never gotten it done .  Hope things get better for you as time goes by .  Guess there is no perfect weight loss surgery out there yet.

Not doing much today . Taking a day off from exercise and got a football game tonight .

Breakfast
  scrambled eggs with turkey sausage

Lunch         not sure whatever sounds good

Dinner       homemade enchilada on low carb high fiber tortillas .

Snack probably grab some of hubby's chips and nachos at the game

Aqua Zumba?! Aqua? I don't think my underwater skills are equal to that, but I'd give it a try.

Steph,

I like Pinot Grigio too, but it's the last thing you need when reflux is making you substitute omeprazole for snacks!

Just sayin'....

Hi Jean...yes a difficult day yesterday and trying to get the omeprazole in on an empty stomach + wasn't hungry at all.  It was more of a tongue in cheek reference to breakfast and snacks...lol
