The pureed steak & veggies I had for lunch yesterday made me sick, possibly because I ate too fast.   Today’s plan: B: protein latte S: scrambled eggbeater w/ cottage cheese & cheddar cheese in it (tastes better than it sounds) S: leftover turkey burger L: pureed steak & veggies (eaten slowly) S: trail mix S: almonds D: Asian style ginger beef (crockpot), rice for my husband., avocado & grapefruit salad S: the last breakfast cookie   This morning’s fitness class is the Fit & Trim torture session (called Butts and Guts at my old health club). Can’t wait!

Good morning !!

Ever have one of them days that you are just to lazy to do anything ? that is me today lol.  It's cold and rainy outside and dont want to go to Zumba tonight but I will . It will make my third day in a row of exercise .

Breakfast   perfect portion chicken breast, 1/2 slice of 2% melted cheese with mushrooms, green beans and some cottage cheese

Lunch  turkey tenderloin,  veggie and probably cottage cheese

Dinner  not to sure what I am going to do on this one yet .  Hubby and son want spaghetti so not sure if I will eat that or fix me a chicken breast .  It depends on how tired I am after Zumba since that is when we will be eating

Snacks if no spaghetti some popcorn tonight

Oh yes I cheated last night *sigh* I had two handful of Doritos while watching the season premier of Private Practice .

Still within my calorie range had 1200 calories for the day even with the Doritos but over my sodium *sigh*

I didnt realize how much sodium meats had in it gosh chicken is suppose to be healthy but high in sodium and so is Turkey

Well, Zumba will surely warm you up!

Sodium lurks everywhere. It's especially scary for me because I have mild hypertension and my mom, who had hypertension for decades, had 2 strokes and several TIA's.

. Oh I know Jean . If I eat to much sodium and it dont take much I retain water so bad its not even funny and I can put on 10 pounds in three days just from water retention .

I have found out its not always the best thing to buy all the so called " healthy foods"  because they add tons of sodium just so it will taste half way decent and you dont gag while eating it lol

I hardly ever ever buy any thing that says low fat or FF because those are the worse foods you can buy .  I just buy the regular stuff and jus****ch my portion size a little more

well it was hard tonight but I did it .  I passed up on the spaghetti tonight and the garlic bread and let me tell you what that garlic bread smelled so good !!

I love garlic bread I can sit there and make a meal out of that and I'm not a big bread eater except for that lol.

I just thought about how hard I have worked my ass of this week at Zumba. I'm tired , I'm sore and I have my huge Walt Disney trip coming up in less then 56 days now .

I ended up just eating a salad for dinner I wasn't that hungry but I am hungry now so I got me some milk and cheese not the best snack but milk does fill me up so I can sleep .

But boy oh boy do I wish I could have a piece of that garlic bread lol

I had a bad day.  Woke up with a h/a and had a whopper of a advanced pathophysiology exam to study for and then take.

But I'm going to own it and start over tomorrow.

B- ww chocolate pumpkin muffin with coffee

L- progresso chicken soup

s- 2 tate's CC cookies and some cheetos

D- 1/2 c home made stew

So lots of crap...not enough protein.  And no exercise  However I think I did pretty well on my test.  So there's that.  Will I ever be able to balance stress...my own expectations of my peformance and not medicated myself with food when I'm anxious??

The joys of being a food addict and grad school...
