My lower-carb eating helped me avoid dumping yesterday, for which I'm thankful, but so far it's not doing much for the hunger. Why can't I have instant results?! Can I get them if I cry and stamp my feet?

I did a WOW fitness class this morning - "Women on Weights". So now my triceps are too sore to lift a Twinkie to my mouth.

Today's food plan:
B: protein latte
S: sausage patty
S: cheese protein bread
S: sausage patty
L: pureed steak, beans & veggies w/ a little olive oil mayo
S: trail mix
S: almonds
D: Italian turkey burger, green salad with mozzarella
S: banana-oat breakfast "cookie"

I guess I won't be making any more breakfast cookies for a while now. Sniff.

I often crave a green salad but salads don't stick with me either unless I put some protein in them. A green salad with shrimp in it would be wonderful right now!

Don't know, since yesterday was "one of those days" where nothing I ate stayed down.  This is what I hope to eat:

B: 2 poached eggs

L: Soup

D: soup again.

i make chicken soup pretty often, chopping the chicken and veggies in the food processor.  I add some stelline, tiny pasta stars and it helps mr get my protein in while on a soft/liquid diet following a bad day.

 True confessions here.

We are at a quaint hotel in Wengen, Switzerland.

For breakfast, I had about a cup of granola with 1/2 cup of yogurt mixed in.

Then, we hiked in the Swiss Alps for 4 1/2 hours, covering about 10 miles.

For lunch, I had some apple juice mixed with sparkling apple juice.
I ordered a dish that was a slice of wheat bread soaked in white wine, covered with ham and asparagus and then topped with REAL Swiss cheese and broiled.  I was ble to eat about 4 small knife and fork bites, but they were amazing.

After another 2 hours of hiking, we stopped for hot cocoa with Baileys ... Yummy.

Dinner is a few pretzels and a glass of white wine.

I am stuffed and pooped, but very, very happy!
