Yesterday as in different time zone!

Should have eaten more! Not a very balanced day!  But OK in calories for maintenance.

Breakfast. Enormous skinny latte
Meant to eat mid morning but busy and forgot! Did have second skinny latte!
Lunch.  Very thick home made pea and mint soup with crusty granary roll
Mid afternoon.  Cheddar cheese.
Dinner.  Left over beef and veg casserole. Three pieces of potato. One dumpling.
Mid-evening.  Crackers and cheddar cheese.
Later. Nibbled some cashews and almonds.

Are you on any PPI? I only feel that crazy "I am starving" feeling when I miss my PPI. If you aren't on one, I would suggest you try it out, it made all the difference for me.

Also, I will play, this is what my day looks like, I don't really eat meals, I make them and then eat them over time  -

B - 1/2 cranberry muffin
After workout Muscle Milk Light
Protein Coffee (this was over the course of the morning, I ate the muffin then ran four miles, then had my Muscles Milk, and then I sip my protein coffee all morning until lunch)

L - 2 ozs of chicken breast deli sliced, 1 oz creamy brie with roasted red peppers and basil

S - cheese stick

D - 2 ozs london broil, 1 oz mushrooms, 1/4 cup of green beans

S - protein shake or cheese stick

I'd been taking omeprazole 20 mg twice a day. Maybe it was preventing reflux but it wasn't helping that crazy hunger. My gastro doc checked my gastrin level, which is slightly elevated, meaning that I'm overproducing acid. So yesterday I started on Dexilant. Too soon to judge if it's helping, but I'm hoping....

Hi Jean,
I'm glad to see you back!  I have been following OH for a little over two months now.  I had started to gain weight -- no fill in over three years -- but I found a surgeon who is closer geographically, and I am back on track!  I have lost 19# in two months, but I have never been this tight -- good and bad.

B:  Atkin's Protein Shake - chocolate
L:   Atkin's Protein Shake- strawberry/banana
Snack:  Cheese Crackers
D:  Tomato Soup

Now, I do not recommend so few calories, but, as I said, I'm tight and stress makes SO much of a difference.  Today is just a "not very hungry day."  Tomorrow will be better!  The funny thing is that I have a good amount of energy.

No good to it, only bad! If you can't get anything down but  sorta protein shakes, soup and slider crackers you are waaayyyyy too tight. If you can't eat solid dense protein you are waaaayyyyyy too tight. The only thing a band that tight is gonna get you is another WLS cause that's exactly what causes erosions and slips. Don't take my word for it, but I'm making note of your name so I don't waste my time posting when you slip. Have fun.
