Insurance question (xpost)

Need help from those of you that have been through this problem & frustration.

Anyone with Aetna have success getting a prolapsed Lap Band revised to a different type of surgery? If so, did you have it done at the sametime?

Also, did you have to re-qualify for the new surgery?

It depends entirely on what your coverage is. Some surgeons do it the same time others want to let the removal heal first. Again some have to requlify some don't, so you'll really need to talk to the insurance company about their coverage and requirements. Good luck!
