Congratulations on your new weight loss journey. I have had band now a little over 5 years, and have not had any problems with it at all. I have lost over 150 lbs. and it has given me my life back, the best decision i ever made. My husband was banded last Oct. and he is also doing great. I wish you the best of luck and take care of yourself during the healing stage and follow your doctors rules.
