Have you had a complete UN fill, I am going to be surprised if you doc has not done that. I would have a complete UN fill for a couple months and see if that helps. (my opinion) No one can tell you what to do. You and your doctor will have to make that decision. But I can say I have not seen any weight loss surgery that has not had some complications. I hope you get some relief soon. Keep us posted on how you are doing.

I have had two complete unfills a year apart.  It got worse, faster the second time.

I personaly would get it out and over with.  I would also switch over to the sleeve.  Go read the revision and failed lap band boards.  Also check out the sleeve board.  There are many people that have gone from band to sleeve there.  Almost all are happy and say the sleeve does what the band claimed it would do.

You have to do what is best for you.  Take care.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

Good Luck tomorrow. I don't know if I could maintain without the band either. I view food differently. I view it as the enemy bc it gets you fat, but it it is the band that stops me from eating too much. I still overestimate what I can eat, and sweets are my downfall. I hope things get better, and let us know your decision and why.

So sorry you are having problems.  I think this is a question for your surgeon.  Please make an appointment to speak to him/her asap.  Good luck.
